Terms, refunds and privacy
Last updated . Plain English, no small print games.
The short version
£1 for your first month, then your founder price each month, locked for life while you stay a member. Cancel anytime. If you change your mind in your first 14 days, email us and we'll refund your £1.
1. Who we are
The Table is the paid community for the Bread & Butter podcast, hosted by Eman and Tayo. It is run by , ("we", "us").
Contact: info@breadandbutterpod.com
2. What you get
Membership gives you access to a private Telegram group. Inside, you can take part in conversations, polls and threads with other members and with Eman and Tayo. What we share and how often can change over time, but the group remains the core of what you're paying for.
You need a Telegram account to join. Your membership is for you only. Don't share your invite link.
3. Prices and billing
- First month: £1 while founder seats are available.
- Founder price: after your first month, the first 25 founders pay £9.99 a month and the next 25 pay £14.99 a month.
- Locked for life: your founder price never goes up as long as your membership stays active. If you cancel, or your membership ends because a payment fails and isn't fixed, and you rejoin later, you'll pay the price at that time.
- Standard price: once founder seats are gone, membership is £19.99 a month.
- You're billed monthly on the same date you joined, until you cancel. Payments are taken by card through Stripe, managed by InviteMember. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include any taxes that apply.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from the InviteMember bot in Telegram, or by emailing info@breadandbutterpod.com. You won't be charged again. You keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, then you're removed from the group.
5. Refunds
- First 14 days: if you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we'll refund it in full.
- After that: monthly payments aren't refunded for part-used months. Cancelling stops the next payment.
- Our mistake: if you're charged wrongly, or we remove you without you breaking the house rules, we'll refund the month in question.
This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
6. House rules
- Eman and Tayo will never DM you about investments. If someone does, it isn't us. Report it to us.
- No selling, no promoting schemes, no crypto or trading signals, no recruiting.
- No harassment, hate or sharing other members' details or messages outside the group.
If you break the rules, we may remove you from the group and end your membership. If we do, we won't refund the current month.
7. Not financial advice
Nothing shared in The Table, by us or by other members, is financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Conversations are for general information and discussion. Do your own research and speak to a qualified professional before making financial decisions. Members' posts are their own views, not ours.
8. Privacy
What we collect: your name, email address and Telegram username, and your membership and payment status. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We don't see your full card number.
Why: to run your membership, give you access to the group, take payments, and contact you about your membership.
Who else processes it: Stripe (payments), InviteMember (membership management) and Telegram (the group). Each has its own privacy policy. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with advertisers.
How long: while you're a member, and for as long afterwards as we need to for tax and accounting records.
Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing info@breadandbutterpod.com. In the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Messages you post in the group can be seen by other members. Think before you share personal details.
9. Changes and ending The Table
We may update these terms. If a change affects you, we'll tell you in the group or by email before it applies. Founder prices stay locked whatever changes.
If we ever close The Table, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and stop all payments.
10. The legal bit
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts. If something goes wrong, email us first. We'll always try to fix it.
